And I Think To Myself...

What a Wonderful World
These are some pictures that remind me of how blessed I am. Thanks Sam for the plants. Thanks Jacob for a fabulous trip to Nashville. Thanks even more to Jody for babysitting our Luci. Over night dates are a great idea! Thanks to dad and Denise for the extra birthday cash which we already spent. Thanks to Isaac for the lovely goose egg on luci's head :)

My Red Heads

Our Garden is growing! Wow, those little buds coming up seriously made us giddy.
How is she tall enough to reach things like this!?

24, was the speed limit in Opry Land??

This was inside the Opry Hotel... Inside I tell you!

Want to see a replica of the Parthenon...there's one in Nashville...of all places.

One of my most favorite parts of our trip was sitting underneath this tree next to the Parthenon eating Jack's BBQ and sharing an Almond Joy

We are so hot.

MMM!

Her first goose egg... so sad.

To My Mamba...

If I were there this beautiful Mother's Day I would...

  • Make you delicious Belgian waffles with berries and cream
  • Hug you so tight
  • Take you on a walk up to Eastlawn and watch the sunset with you
  • And tell you that I lub you. Cuzz: well, I do.
I love you mom. I hope you have a wonderful mother's day.

Ps. To all of my Mothers out there (Denise, Mary Beth, Kaye, Grandmother, and Grandma Patty). Thanks. I love you!

Love Muffins and More

Vanilla Chiffon Love Muffins with Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting: made with love by Kelsey and me... want the recipe??

Luci and I have had some crazy adventures the last few weeks. Grandma Goosey and Pops came to Visit us first, and then a couple days later we made the trek to Utah. Luci is the apple of everyone's eye of course and so we have been going non-stop to see everyone! It has been crazy, tiring, beautiful, filling, exciting, and above all great! Poor Jacob was home studying for and taking finals...sorry babe. But he is done, and now it's wonderful summertime. At least I hope it will be wonderful. The humidity in the mid west is making me a little bit nervous... And our Law School friends are leaving us for jobs and internships...Boo. So, I will try to keep myself busy with projects and adventures of my own I guess. While Mom and Pops were here we took them to the Zoo, to an awesome Butterfly exhibit, and on lots of walks. We loved hangin' out at our house the most though. On our trip we ate lots of Magleby's food, went to Moab, got to see lots of people that we love, and Luci made everyone's day. She had a great time with her grandparents, cousins and aunts and uncles. We made some really yummy cupcakes and we ate at a cafe called Love Muffin in Moab, (hence the yummy photos). I think I'll call cupcakes love muffins from now on. Thanks Kels for coming over to make them with me! Here is a glimpse of our adventures.

Danielle

Can you see the butterfly on her shoulder??

Too bad it rained in Moab...we went to a movie since we couldn't go hiking. Luckily Luci slept throught the whole thing. We saw 17 again...I have to admit, I believe Zac Effron is the new Tom Cruise.

The rain was pouring when the boys Teed off for the tournament in Moab. Luci loved it!

A famous Magleby's bread stick...if you click on the pic you can see all that butter!
